Letter from Recruitment Chair
Recruitment
It's safe to say that Greek Life at Carnegie Mellon is unlike most campuses. This is for great reasons. Carnegie Mellon holds Panhellenic Sorority Recruitment, a 3 day-long process, during the fall semester where our chapters gain the majority of our new members. We always look forward to offering our sisterhood to the many amazing women who are interested in becoming a part of it. Delta Gamma enables us to become better women through scholarship, participating in philanthropy events, expanding our cultural and educational interests, and being a genuine friend and sister.
To Prospective Members
We are so thrilled to see your interest in Greek Life! Ask any Panhellenic sister, and they will tell you about all of the memories, friendships and lifelong connections they have made in their sororities. Greek Life is not an opportunity that everyone wishes to take, but for me, it has become something that I can’t imagine my collegiate experience without. Being a part of something bigger than yourself and connecting to women with whom you share similar values, goals and ideals is truly a beautiful possibility! I cannot tell you how excited I am to contact you about the process, so if you have any questions, please feel free to email me at dgbetanu@gmail.com.
To our Alumnnae
Thank you so much for leaving a wonderful legacy for all new members to see! Because of your dedication and sisterhood, we are so proud to have a chapter house, a rich history of successes, and a growing alumni network. You are so integral to Beta Nu, and we thank you for all of the work that you have done, and all the work you have yet to do! In recruitment, your sponsorship forms and presence at recruitment is vital. If you would like to further your involvement in this process, feel free to email me at any time! I can be reached at dgbetanu@gmail.com. Beta Nu loves seeing you all at the house, so stop by if you can!
Best,
Melina Driscoll – Vice President of Membership
